At just 19 years old, Kathleen Follero, the new KWC Philippines 2025 Grand Champion, is already setting her sights on the global stage. On September 24, 2025, she stepped into the studios of Hit Productions in Makati City for an intensive vocal practice session — fine-tuning her performance piece for the Karaoke World Championships 2025 finals.
Representing the Philippines among the world’s finest vocalists, Kathleen continues to embody the spirit of Filipino excellence and resilience. A pre-med student from Sto. Tomas, Batangas, balances her academic pursuits with an undeniable passion for music — a passion deeply nurtured by her father and rooted in her family’s shared love for song.
Drawing inspiration from powerhouse performers like Beyoncé, Jessie J, and Michael Jackson, Kathleen has crafted a performance style defined by technical mastery, stage charisma, and emotional depth. Her practice at Hit Productions showcased not only her vocal strength but also her discipline and artistry — qualities that have made her one of the most promising young voices in the country today.
The session took place at Hit Productions, the Philippines’ leading audio and media production house known for its world-class facilities and award-winning legacy in sound design and music production.
