The Karaoke World Championships (KWC) Philippines 2025 has officially unveiled its powerhouse lineup of national contenders – and this year’s journey to the International Finals in Thailand is shaping up to be the most thrilling yet.
After electrifying performances from across the archipelago, four champions emerged from their respective regions:
- Jovie Loon (Visayas) – The smooth pop and R&B groove master whose energy lights up every stage.
- Joshua Caro (Mindanao) – A singer with unmatched soul and class that resonates deeply with audiences.
- Sultann (Greater Manila Area) – The charismatic balladeer whose storytelling melts hearts.
- Kathleen Follero (Luzon) – A full-voice diva delivering powerhouse performances worthy of the crown.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. After a nail-biting deliberation, the KWC producers awarded a coveted wild card slot to Samantha Cedro of Luzon — this year’s pop vocal princess — who now joins the championship roster.
These five phenomenal talents, each with their own signature style, will go head-to-head at the National Finals on August 17, 2025, at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas Center, Manila Philippines. The show is a FREE treat to all the KWC fans and the Robinsons patrons which starts at 4 PM PH. Special performances are expected from OPM hitmakers, Pauline Anne, Hey Moonshine, and the crowd’s most requested, Amiel Sol.
Only one will earn the honor of representing the Philippines on the global stage in Thailand this November. THE BIG QUESTION NOW: Who will be the next Karaoke World Champion? Will it be the groove of pop and R&B, the soulful elegance, the charismatic balladry, the diva power, or the infectious pop sparkle?
