Pasay City, Philippines – The Sheraton Hotel became the epicenter of innovation and collaboration as ASEAN leaders, technical experts, and industry delegates gathered for the 1st Technical Committee Meeting of the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition held last 28th of February 2025.
This significant meeting marks a vital step in preparing for the highly anticipated competition set to take place later this year. Designed to spotlight the exceptional talents of young professionals in technical and vocational fields, the WorldSkills ASEAN Competition serves as a platform for fostering regional excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness.
The event in February was just a prelude to a much bigger one –the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition which will take place on 26 to 28 August 2025. The event will be held at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila. As anticipation builds, this transformative event is set to celebrate the achievements of young professionals and inspire the future of skills development across the region.
Ms. Eli Lora (Elizabeth Lora Estrada), one of the experts and partners of the event, also a resident host of Beyond Beauty on The New Channel, graced the occasion, emphasizing the critical role of skills development in shaping ASEAN’s future workforce.
