MANILA, Philippines | January 2026 | The Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) has officially sworn in Dr. Donald Patrick Lim as its 78th president, ushering in a new era of innovation-driven leadership for the influential business group.
Lim, a respected leader in digital transformation and corporate management, was inaugurated at the MAP Inaugural Meeting held at Shangri-La The Fort in Manila on 19 January 2026, alongside the newly inducted MAP Board of Governors for the year.
A Vision for Impact and Inclusive Growth
In his inaugural address, Lim emphasized the need for measurable programs that deliver real impact not only for MAP members but for the broader Philippine community. “Our country does not need more spectators analyzing its challenges from the sidelines,” he said, underscoring a commitment to lead with purpose and results.
Lim outlined strategic priorities for MAP in 2026, focusing on cross-sector collaboration, regional integration, and strong public-private partnerships. Initiatives include:
- Clustered MAP committees targeting sustainability, healthcare, and inclusive growth;
- Regional engagement with Visayas and Mindanao stakeholders;
- A new Partnerships for Nation Program to widen collaborative efforts beyond traditional MAP circles;
- Close cooperation with government agencies, local governments, academe, civil society, and the private sector.

Lim has signaled a stronger role for MAP in shaping not just national but regional business agendas, stressing that the private sector must help define trade, sustainability, and digital integration discussions across ASEAN.
He added that MAP will prioritize innovation and future-ready leadership, harnessing technology to build competitiveness and nurture the next generation of business leaders.
