PNP ACG Welcomes 11 New Advisory Council Members at 13th Founding Anniversary
March 2026, Philippines | In a significant step toward strengthening the country’s fight against cybercrime, the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP ACG) officially welcomed eleven new members to its Advisory Council during its 13th Founding Anniversary celebration.
The oath-taking ceremony gathered distinguished individuals from various sectors, including government agencies, private institutions, financial organizations, and the media—reflecting a unified, multi-sectoral approach to cybersecurity.
Presiding over the ceremony was PBGEN Wilson C. Asueta, Acting Director of the PNP ACG, who led the induction of the new council members. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing evolving cyber threats.
“The PNP ACG expresses its sincere appreciation to the new ACG Advisory Council and looks forward to strengthened collaboration and the implementation of impactful programs that will enhance our efforts in combating cybercrime and safeguarding the public in cyberspace,” Asueta said.
The newly inducted Advisory Council is expected to play a vital role in supporting the group’s initiatives—providing expert insights, strategic guidance, and sector-specific perspectives to reinforce cybersecurity measures nationwide.
